This is the new plastic-like material which is 100% biodegradable. In fact, it is so benign to the environment that PLA biodegrades into carbon dioxide and water. This is good news as O'BON will be one of the first brand names to produce a pen using this material. We have decided not to call this PLA or polylaticacid as it is too technical and challenging. We will use our own name: Ecobon.
Before the end of the month I will post a graphic of our new pen. We hope you like it. With this addition to our family, O'BON will become a real player in both the office and school stationery business.
